Evo-Sim is a Python-based simulator for evaluating optimisation strategies towards the expansion of public electric vehicles (EV) charging infrastructures. It provides various interfaces to model EV charging demand and charging point supply, and integrates different methods to optimise the mapping of demand to supply.
Evo-Sim builds upon a modular and flexible architecture, and enables the integration of user-inputted charging infrastructure and /or charging demand profiles. Its allocation component provides a set of evaluation and visualisation functions to analyse the performance of vehicle-to-station options.
Evo-Sim is released as open source software under the GPL-3.0 License and is available at EvoSim
